Coates Creek Cabinetry is a business based in New Lowell, Ontario that has been operating since 1989. The owner, Jeremy Van Severen, started the business at the age of 18 and has built a reputation of “Pride in Workmanship.”

Jeremy's interest in woodworking started with his grandfather whom he helped build pine beds for his siblings and cousins. He further developed his skills by taking wood shop in high school, and later found employment in a local woodworking company. However, he was determined to share his own design ideas and customization with the world.

He approached his grandfather with a business proposition and he began a small workshop out of an old barn on his grandfather's property where the company continues to thrive today. The shop was originally a 20 by 40 foot space and heated with a wood stove.

The company remains in the same location today. Coates Creek Cabinetry outgrew the original two years after opening. The first expansion took place in 1992 to add a spray room. As business continued to thrive and Coates Creek Cabinetry became more known for its customized quality the business demanded yet another expansion in the fall of 1998. The shop is now 6800 square feet including the showroom and office areas and houses industry leading automation.

The footprint of the business has not grown in recent years, however the heart definitely has. The Coates Creek Cabinetry team has brought on team members to offer design services as well as the addition of red seal cabinet makers.

Coates Creek Cabinetry not only provides you with customized designs, high quality materials but holds the satisfaction of the client as in the forefront of all activities. Jeremy oversees each project from beginning to end, maintaining ongoing contact with all customers. The company has now been in business for over three decades and continues to guarantee “Pride in Workmanship,” naturally built into every creation.
